Make strength your superpower

How to tap into and expand your strength to quiet your anxiety in unsettled times.

Feeling overwhelmed? Anxious? Maybe even powerless?

Join Kelly and her guest Rachael, a licensed clinical social worker and talk therapist, on Zoom for a Salon on Thursday, March 13th from 7-8:30 pm EST, as Rachael leads us in discussion on how to lean into strength and make it your superpower. This will help you to manage your anxiety in these uncertain times.

Rachael has the following alphabet in her therapeutic backpack: LSCW, CAADC, CRA, MRT, and CAMS. Her Instagram account, @back2basicstherapy, is a must-follow, as far as I’m concerned. She is both practical and down-to-earth, and offers a lot of guidance on quelling anxiety or anxious feelings, and on improving your own mood or emotional setting. Here’s a link to one of her specific posts that I thought might help you.

  • WHAT: A Salon featuring Rachael from Back 2 Basics Therapy. She will talk about how to tap into your own strength, and use it as a superpower to overcome anxiety

  • TOPIC: Actually you can: how to make Strength your superpower

  • WHEN: Thursday, March 13th from 7 - 8:30 p.m. EDT via Zoom

  • WHERE: In your own space, via Zoom

  • COST: Given the state of the world and the need for this topic, it’s a donation-based event with a suggested minimum of $5. In ordinary times (gods, I miss things being ordinary), it would be priced at $35 per person.
