7-11 journal entry: including downloads in your journal
I’ve begun checking in with my body during my journaling sessions.
Today and yesterday, my journal entries included something a bit new for me. I asked my body what it wanted or needed, and guess what? I actually got answers.
Yesterday, those answers were super clear: a walk in the park, no coffee (tea instead), Chicken Caesar Salad for dinner, a salt bath, drinking a lot of water. Today they were a bit less specific, if only because “rest” was the big thing. (Also some fresh fruit and a shower.)
These answers are actually a form of download. They are not the same thing as creating a to-do list, which comes from the conscious mind, and include things like “write a blog post” or “pay bills” or “clean the living room.” These were the result of the question “what does my body need today?”, then sitting quietly to see what answers arrived.
If you are a person who is in touch with your spirit guides, you can ask them for guidance as well. Pose a question, then wait for the answer. Don’t try to figure out the answer yourself—just see if something pops into your head. Even (or especially) if it seems odd or counterintuitive, write that info down.
